The graphic shows the sequence for constructing a new reservoir zone. When the accounting window is opened, each reservoir in the simulator is represented along with a default zone, called Res Top. This zone encompasses the entire volume of the reservoir. This sequence shows how to subdivide the reservoir.

The menu is obtained by clicking the right mouse button on the name of the reservoir. Notice that the dialog has upper and lower limits for the top of the new zone. These limits are taken from the area capacity table of the reservoir in the simulation window. If a value is entered which is outside of these bounds, the system will put up an error box and give you a chance to correct the value.

This process may be repeated as often as desired. There is no fixed limit on the number of zones in the reservoir.
