The demand display allows the user to request the delivery of the water owned by an account to a specific simulation node in the system. The node must, of course, be downstream of where the account has credits, but there is otherwise no restriction.

The two combo boxes on the dialog allow you to select the account and the node to which the water is to be deliveres. The radio buttions allow you to specify whether the water is to be debited from the first bin upstream of the demand site or whether it should be taken from the top of the water network.

The left hand table in the dialog allows you to specify what proportion of the total demand is to be taken each month.

The right hand table allows you to specify the total annual demand. Because the annual demand can be a time series, you may model changing water use patterns through the use of this tool. If the demand is static, simply enter a single value as shown. The simulator will reuse that value for each year.
