There are no default or fixed reports in RiverSim. Instead, all simulation variables are accessable to the report generator and the user may combine them in any way to create custom reports for any situation.

The image shows the report creation dialog. The title field is editable and allows you to title the report as you wish.

The left hand portion of the report creation dialog has a tree containing all off the nodes in the simulator. Choosing a slot from a node and clicking the Enter button creates an entry in the right hand portion of the dialog. By default, the radio button specifying the output series is checked. If the user defined series is desired, simply check the other button. (If you want both, enter the slot twice.)

Once the simulation has been run, reports are invoked from the top menu. Choosing "Run Report" will pop up a sub menu containing all of the report titles. Choose where you wish to have the report sent. If you have Microsoft Excel, you may choose to have the report sent directly to a spreadsheet. In that case, RiverSim will add a worksheet to Excel and paste the report into that worksheet. It will also create a graph of the report information. The figure below shows an example of a RiverSim report sent to a spreadsheet:

If you do not have MS Excel or you wish to use the report in another document, simply choose to send the report to the system clipboard. It will be written as a tab delimited text string which may be pasted into any document or file.
